Img2ozf Conversion Utility

Met dit programma kunt u kaartafbeeldingen converteren naar OZF en OZF2 formaat, zie voor meer informatie het helpbestand van OziExplorer onder 'Map Related / Image Files Supported' (helpbestand binnenkort in het Nederlands beschikbaar).

MrSid Image Loading Support File

To use the MrSID image format this dll is required.

Download MrSID dll

This dll file should be placed in the folder where the OziExplorer program was installed. It needs to be with the "oziexp.exe" program file.

NOTE - The MrSid dll file will not work with version 3.90.3a (or earlier) of OziExplorer, it will only work with release version 3.95 (or later) and development versions 3.90.3b (or later).

Using MrSID Image Files

• The SID image files are usually supplied with a .SDW file which contains basic geo-reference information. If you have this file you can import the image using the "File / Import Map / All DRG maps on CD" menu option. The geo-reference information will be read from the .sdw file and used to create a .map file which is then opened in OziExplorer using the Load Map option on the Load menu.
• If there is no .sdw file then the image will need to be opened using the "Load and Calibrate Map Image" option on the File menu and the image calibrated manually.

Geotiff ondersteuning

Maptech BSB4, PCX en RML kaart ondersteuning

Ondersteuning voor ECW afbeeldingen

De vereiste bestanden om ECW ingepakte afbeeldingen te kunnen lezen zijn hier beschikbaar: ecwdll.zip Pak het bestand uit naar de Windows map (windows of winnt).

Indien u reeds andere software heeft die gebruik maakt van ECW dan is het mogelijk dat u deze bestanden al heeft. Er is dan geen noodzaak deze bestanden te downloaden.

Magellan POI Manager Symbolen

Om de Magellan POI manager te gebruiken heeft u deze symbolenset nodig: dsymbols.zip Pak het bestand uit naar een map genaamd Dsymbols in de map waar OziExplorer is geïnstalleerd. U kunt ook uw eigen symbolen maken en deze eenvoudig toevoegen aan de map, gebruik één van de bestaande symbolen als voorbeeld.

Index Maps. A few maps to use as Index Maps (examples only). A small World Map, an Australian Map and a Canada Map. Run the self-extracting exe file and put the maps into a folder called Index Maps under the folder where OziExplorer is installed.

World Cities Names database for use with Names Search feature in OziExplorer.  Run the self-extracting exe file and put the database files into a folder called Name Search under the folder where OziExplorer is installed.
